WARTA Training Courses - Introduction

The Training Division of Western Australian Road Transport Association (formerly Transport Forum WA) has been delivering quality training for the Western Australian transport industry for over 20 years.

The Training Division is at the forefront in Western Australia for the design, development and delivery of relevant training to meet the specific demands of the local transport industry. It's charter is to advance the efficiency, safety and effectiveness of the transport industry through the delivery of quality training.

The Training Division operates in accordance with all the State and Federal requirements required of a Registered Training Organisation.

The Facilities

Training Facility: WARTA's main training facility is located at 37 Cohn Street, Carlisle. Click here for a map.

Administration Building: The administration building is located at 239 Star Street, Welshpool. Click here for a map.

Collectively these two facilities contain 5 training rooms and two large theatrettes, a warehouse and large surrounding area for the practical training and assessment requirements, a large tearoom facility and extensive off-road parking facilities.

Alternatively, training can be delivered at the client's premises, both in the metropolitan area and regional areas.

The Trainers

All our trainers are not only formally credentialed to deliver training but also possess extensive practical experience through working in the local industry.

It contains general information about WARTA, the services and facilities that are available to you and WARTA's responsibilities and policies. Terms and Conditions

Fee for Service Courses- Refund Policy

A course has been cancelled by WARTA – Full Refund
Review of RPL indicates that the student does not have to undertake the course/part course – Full Refund.
Student is unable to attend due to extended hospitalisation/illness and/or pregnancy/childbirth – Full Refund.

  • Cancellations can be made by phone, fax, mail, e-mail or in person.
  • If a cancellation is received 3 - 5 working days prior to course commencement, the deposit will be charged/will not be refunded.
  • If a cancellation is received within 3 working days the full course fee will be charged.
  • WARTA reserves the right to cancel any course if insufficient bookings are received. Should this occur, those who registered will be informed and their course fees refunded in full or credited to the next scheduled course

Traineeships

WARTA is compliant with the WA Government refund policy for traineeships. As this may change form time to time please see – www.training.wa.gov.au/training/content-fees-review.asp.

RPL

There is no refund for unsuccessful RPL applications

Refunds will not be issued for a change in student work hours, inconvenience of travel to class or students who leave before finishing course/module.
