Assessment

To be found competent in this unit, a trainee must achieve an 80% average across 4 individual multiple choice tests. These tests are ‘open book’. He must also demonstrate competence in a Practical Assessment utilising simulated examples relevant to actual industry Dangerous Goods operations and the theoretical and practical use of fire extinguishers.

Outcome

On successful completion of this course you will receive a Statement of Attainment which forms part of the TLI31610 Certificate III in Warehousing Operations. The Qualification received is TLI D30 27A Prepare for transport of dangerous goods which covers classes 2,3,4,5,6.1,8 & 9.

Please note:

  • This qualification in itself does not authorise you to transport Dangerous Goods In containers in excess of 500 Kg/Lt. To obtain the LICENCE you will need to attach this Statement of Attainment to your Application Form to The Dept of Mines and Petroleum and comply with all other requirements (e.g. Police Clearance and Medical Certificate) Please use the following Link to download a copy of the application form.(see links above)
