- There is no practical training involved in this course. To pass this course a student must be confident in loading /unloading a truck/trailer, able to retrieve pallets from high racking and able to manoeuvre with a load through an obstacle course.
Note: An additional $77 to be paid to WorkSafe after course
Course includes:
- Safety and legislation
- Pre-start inspections
- Driving
- Lifting, carrying, lowering and setting down loads
- Lifting, carrying, lowering and setting down wide and awkward loads
- Stacking and destacking loads
- Loading and unloading a vehicle
- Parking the forklift
Please note that the granting of this Statement of Attainment does not in itself award the licence. Following successful completion of the assessments the Assessor will prepare documentation which will include an interim licence which is valid for 60 days from the date of issue. It is the responsibility of the trainee to make application to Worksafe for a high risk work licence.

For a confirmed block booking of 6 or more trainees a discount of 10% will apply - not applicable for weekend or onsite training. 
Note: These can be booked on different days.
Under Australian Standard 2359.2 all operators must be 18 years of age.
Assessments
- Candidates must demonstrate competence in both underpinning knowledge and practical assessment
Outcome
- On successful completion of the course you will receive a Statement of Attainment which forms part of the TLI21610 Certificate II in Warehousing Operations and complies with NOHSC: 7019.
Literacy and Numeracy
As some of the courses run by WARTA, assume a base level, where literacy and numeracy skills are required, please indicate if assistance with training and assessment services are required
