Main Roads WA – HVS UPDATE

Restricted Access Vehicle Route Assessments – changes to contact details and process

Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Services (HVS) advises the transport industry that from Monday 4 April 2016 all Restricted Access Vehicle (RAV) Route Assessments will be processed through the HVS OverSize OverMass Unit (OSOM).

To streamline processes and provide a more efficient service, all requests to add or amend a road to the RAV network should be submitted using the “Application and Road Owner Endorsement to Add or Amend a Road to the RAV Network“, available on Main Roads Heavy Vehicles webpage through Publications and Information.

All required information (inclusive of application form, road asset owner approval/s etc) will need to be provided before an application will be processed. To assist applicants, any incomplete applications received will be returned to the applicant (inclusive of the above application form, road asset owner approval/s etc) with a detailed explanation of the information required. The applicant will then be required to resubmit it for processing.

All Applications and Road Owner Endorsement to Add or Amend a Road on the RAV Network should be submitted via HVSrouteassessments@mainroads.wa.gov.au
