How does the Load Restraint in your ute or company vehicle comply?
Under the new C&E Legislation, you need to ensure that you and/or your employees, drivers and sub-contractors (anyone who drives a company vehicle) is trained using the correct load restraint techniques and are not overloading vehicles as penalties can apply to all accountable parties.

This course is designed for anyone who drives a light commercial (company) vehicle or subcontractor using their own vehicle who is involved in the safe loading of that vehicle and the restraint of the loads it carries.
This is a theory and practical based course which includes training and assessment in the following:
To gain the most from the practical exercise on this course, we encourage students to bring their own vehicles (light commercial vehicles) with them, including a restrained load. This allows us to establish how they are currently loading their vehicles and provide useful tips and feedback on their operations.
On successful completion of this course, a certificate will be issued.
As of the 6th of March 2017 all advertised WARTA courses (Excluding WARTA’s Heavy Vehicle Pilot course) will move to new training facilities at the premises of Training Course Experts (TCE) – 3 Aberdeen Street, Northbridge.
Note: All Heavy Vehicle Pilot courses will still be conducted at WARTA’s Malaga premises – Unit 4/13 Townsend Street, Malaga.

Courses offered by WARTA require students to have a basic level of Literacy and Numeracy skills and knowledge to be able to read and interpret information from reference materials, complete basic mathematical equations and write in English to complete assessments. If you have any difficulties, please advise our office at your earliest convenience prior to training or assessment, so that we may arrange appropriate assistance.
