It must be an Australian characteristic that when a major project is being proposed, the locals feel the ‘world is going to end’ and the message to all affected parties is – Not-On-My-Patch.
The proposed $1.6 billion Perth Freight Link will, without fear, be a huge bonus for the Western Australian Road Transport Industry, and of equal importance; the general public.
The project is the largest road infrastructure project ever to be undertaken in Western Australia.
This important road will provide a link in a transport corridor through a dedicated, high productivity, freight connection between Muchea in the north through Perth’s industrial areas heartland, which includes Forrestfield, Kewdale and Welshpool, onto the Fremantle Port precinct…
