Main Roads WA and the WA Department of Transport are not letting ‘grass grow under our feet’ come 2015. Remember the Compliance and Enforcement Legislation (C&E) implementation will be in full swing early in 2015. This will mean if you do not understand what impact the ‘Chain of Responsibility’ is all about – you are in for a big shock! Remember: Doing nothing is NOT an Option!
The next major change or revitalisation revolves around Heavy Vehicle Accreditation. MRWA is keen to keep the impressive momentum going which has been achieved in the last few years and to the forefront of our eastern state bureaucrats and colleagues within the transport sector.
In the November 2014 edition of the WA Transport Magazine, we read how the Australian Trucking Association (ATA) wants to “wind down the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme in its current form”…
